UCAT invites the teaching community at Ohio State to join in a common reading Thursday (2/1) through Thursday (3/15). Teaching Interculturally: A Framework for Integrating Disciplinary Knowledge and Intercultural Development by Amy Lee et al. is about maintaining disciplinary standards while creating learning opportunities that allow students to share their diverse voices and learn about alternate perspectives. UCAT is offering five grants to reimburse up to $100 toward the cost of books if your department, college, unit, regional campus or group of colleagues would like to host your own reading group.
