
The Waller Memorial Lecture Series will be held on September 22nd and 23rd this year. The invited speaker is Dr. Harry Klee, Professor of Horticultural Sciences at the University of Florida and National Academy of Sciences member. His lab’s work focuses on the chemical and genetic determinants of flavor in fruits and vegetables, primarily tomatoes. His overall goal is to produce better-tasting tomatoes without compromising on yield.
