Erin is a 4th year undergraduate student majoring in Zoology with a minor in Human-Animal Interactions. In the summer of 2023, she received the Undergraduate Research and Apprenticeship award from OSU's the Office of Research and Creative Inquiry . With Dr. Benderlioglu, Erin is studying “Exposure to Stress and Its Reduction Through Human-Horse Interactions” for her research thesis, which she plans to defend in SP 24. Along with undergraduate research assistant Richdara Sok, she is having a lot of fun running experimental trials at the Ohio State Equestrian Team’s competition barn. Erin is currently looking at several graduate programs across the country to further her education after graduation. She is interested in animal behavior and communication, particularly in vertebrates.
