Fund will support all activities related to the EEOB Undergraduate Research Lab including, but not limited to, research opportunities and outreach activities. Funds to be distributed under the direction of the department chair or their designee.

Department of Zoology Support Fund

Used to support social activities within EEOB that are in compliance with University policies for which general funds may not be appropriate. Expenses approved by the chair.

Museum of Biological Diversity

To account for donations made to the OSU Museum of Biological Diversity and to use donations to help defray expenses associated with the museum.

The Excellence in Zoology Fund

Established December 5, 1986, by alumni, faculty and friends. Income supports excellence in teaching and research in the Department of Zoology (EEOB).

The Museum of Zoology Fund

Established February 2, 1973, by David H. Stansbery, PhD, other friends and faculty members. Income covers expeditions, purchase of collections and related expenses of the Museum of Zoology.

The Ichthyology Research Endowment Fund

Established June 5, 1987, by supporters of the ichthyology collection in the Museum of Zoology. Income aids research and publication on the collection of fish at the Museum.

The David H. Stansbery Bivalves Endowment Fund
Fund Number: 606910
Established June 4, 1993, by Mr. Stansbery, friends and faculty members. Income aids the enrichment and maintenance of the Bivalve Mollusk Collection, including expeditions, purchase of collections, and related expenses of the Division of Bivalves of the Museum of Zoology.

The Glenn O. and Lois S. Schwab Scholarship Fund

Established February 3, 1995, by Glenn, professor emeritus, Food, Agricultural and Biological Engineering, and Lois Schwab. Income from 1.7278 shares is directed to the College with the remaining income to the College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. Biological sciences' scholarships are awarded to second quarter juniors or seniors in Evolution Ecology, and Organismal Biology who possess the highest GPA (minimum 3.3) and have completed one or more courses in advanced zoology.

Martha N. and John C. Moser Chair in Arthropod Biosystematics and Biological Diversity
Fund Number: 645042
Established April 4, 2014, with gifts from Dr. John C. Moser [BS 1951, MS 1954]; used to support a chair position for the Department of Evolution, Ecology, and Organismal Biology in the College of Arts and Sciences.

To support the C.A. Triplehorn Insect Collection priorities at the discretion of the curator of the collection in consultation with the director of the collection.


A.D. Wolfe Research

Supports the NSF Minority Graduate Fellowship Program. Expenditures must be approved by the current Department of Evolution, Ecology and Organismal Biology (EEOB) chair.

Biological Sciences Dean's Excellence Fund

Provides support for all programs within the college, including undergraduate research, outreach to local schools and academic support.
