Tanya Berger-Wolf, EEOB Professor and Translational Data Analytics Institute (TDAI) faculty director, has been elected to the National Academies Board on Life Sciences, an appointment that began July 1. The private, non-profit National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine convene experts from diverse sectors and disciplines, conduct studies, publish reports and journals, host events and more to provide guidance on pressing challenges to help shape policies; inform public opinion; and advance the pursuit of science, engineering, and medicine.
