Jim Hood and Stu Ludsin, EEOB faculty at in the Aquatic Ecology Laboratory, were both recently awarded Ohio Department of Higher Education Harmful Algal Bloom Research Initiative (ODHE HABRI) grants.

Dr. Hood's grant is titled: "Legacy phosphorus in rivers: Quantification of fine-grain sediment P stores and their influence on bioavailable P release in the Maumee River."

Dr. Ludsin's grant is titled: "Assessment of historical and current dredging practices on HABs and biological productivity in Lake Erie."
