Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Plants and animals are the source and inspiration for the most potent poisons and medicines. The complexity of these chemicals is matched only by the complexity of behaviors, anatomies, and biologies that organisms have evolved to deploy these natural weapons. On February 7, 2015, join us at the Museum of Biological Diversity's annual Open House for “Toxic: venoms, poisons, and the organisms that make them.”

This free event features hands-on activities for kids and adults, live animals, an indoor treasure hunt, special displays, and tours of the collections. Lots and lots of fun! The event is open to the public from 10-4 on February 7, 2015. Free parking.
