Roman Lanno, associate professor, Evolution, Ecology, and Organismal Biology (EEOB); and Cynthia Dassler, program coordinator, EEOB, have each been named a National Academies Education Fellow in the Life Sciences for the 2011-2012 academic year. This honor recognizes their enthusiastic participation in the 2011 National Academies Summer Institute on Undergraduate Education in Biology held at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in June.
