MEEC @ Miami U

Undergrads Emiko Wright, Max Frankenberry, Bobby Burkhart, and Graduate Student Jessie Wallace, presented at the Midwest Ecology and Evolution Conference at Miami University, Oxford OH, on Saturday, March 19th. Wright is from the Wolfe lab and works on Pentstemon hybridization while Frankenberry and Burkhart are from the Goodell lab and presented projects in which they used stable isotope analysis of bee tissue to determine habitats in which bees forage, and the amount of adult diet that gets incorporated into cuticle and muscle. Wallace (advisor: Karen Goodell) presented the results of a 4-year native bee and wildflower survey on newly reclaimed mine sites in SE Ohio.
