Watters in Bivalve Range

Dr. Tom Watters, Curator of Molluscs at the Museum of Biological Diversity, was interviewed by Columbus Underground for an article on Big Darby Creek. Darby Creek, recognized as both a State Scenic River and a National Scenic River, is home to four federally endangered mussel species and several others that are otherwise rare or threatened. The Darby recently has been declared one of the most endangered rivers in America.
