I am currently a graduate student in Dr. Karen Goodell’s lab working on analyzing data from the recent Ohio Bee Survey. We have collected around 53,000 bees and I plan to use ArcGIS to analyze the areas around our study sites to look at the differing land cover and compare it to the species found at that site.

Previously, I have worked with Dr. Andreas Chavez researching mammalian diversity in wild mammal populations. There, I studied and prepared squirrels and mice for museum collections. I have also worked with Dr. Zeynep Benderlioglu as a TA for her undergraduate research class on COVID, where I taught students how to use GIS for disease research. Finally, I worked with Dr. Benderlioglu on a summer project on aggression in horses at the Ohio State Equine Center.
