Ohio Plants class at Deep Woods

Deep Woods ravine

During Maymester, the Ohio Plants class took a field trip to Deep Woods Farm near Hocking Hills. Students identified wildflowers and woody plants, explored a waterfall ravine, forded a cold creek repeatedly, and went on a medicinal/edible plant walk with Erika Galentin (a medical herbalist).
